Ferrite magnets are manufactured by die pressing and then sintering. This process provides an economical means of production of various shapes and sizes. Ferrite magnets can be produced with either isotropic or anisotropic properties. Ceramic-1 is an isotropic grade with equal magnetic properties in all directions. Ceramic grades 5 and 8 are anisotropic grades. Anisotropic magnets are magnetized in the direction of processing.
